The Festivals Of God Attended By Jesus Christ

The Man Who Saw God Face To Face

Introduction
Today, people are attending pagan festivals of the roman empire, without knowing that the pagan festivals have been
baptized with Christian names.
For example, such ceremonies like iwa
ji, ozo uka
were pagan ceremonies which the church have brought
into Christianity in order to increase members.
Investigate this fact by asking your parents when you get
home.
What Jesus Said
About Old Testament
"Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the
Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I
say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one title will by no
means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and
teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever
does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:17-20
The Festivals Of God Attended By Jesus
1.
Sabbath Day
“So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up.
And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood
up to read.” Luke 4:16-17
2. Jesus Attended The Passover Feast
His parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover . 42 And when He was twelve years old, they went up
to Jerusalem according to the custom of the feast. 43 When they had finished
the days, as they returned, the Boy Jesus lingered behind in Jerusalem. And
Joseph and His mother did not know it… so it was that after three days they
found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening
to them and asking them questions. 47 And all who heard Him were astonished at
His understanding and answers. 48 So when they saw Him, they were amazed; and
His mother said to Him, "Son, why have You done
this to us? Look, Your father and I have sought You
anxiously."
And He said to them, "Why did you seek Me?
Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?" 50 But they did not understand the statement
which He spoke to them. Luke 2:41-50
Now on the first day of the Feast of the Unleavened Bread the disciples
came to Jesus, saying to Him, "Where do You want
us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?"
18 And He said, "Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him,
'The Teacher says, "My time is at hand; I will keep the Passover at your
house with My disciples."'"
19 So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them; and they prepared the Passover . Matthew 26:17-19
And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave
it to them and said, "Take, eat; this is My
body."
Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks He gave it to them, and
they all drank from it. 24 And He said to them, "This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many. 25 Assuredly, I say to you, I will no longer
drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the
kingdom of God." Mark 14:22-25
3. Jesus Attended The Feast Of Tabernacles
Now the Jews' Feast of Tabernacles was at hand… But when His brothers had
gone up, then He also went up to the feast, not openly, but as it were in
secret. John 7:2-11
Now about the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the temple and taught.
15 And the Jews marveled, saying, "How does this Man know letters, having
never studied?" John 7:14-15
4. Jesus Sent The Holy Spirit During The Feast Of Pentecost
Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of
Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high." Luke 24:49
“When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in
one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty
wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there
appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other
tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”
Acts 2:1-4
5. Jesus
Attended The Feast Of New Moon
The New Moon Feast was a regular monthly festival, in Israel, in both Old
and New Testaments, and not novenas which were forged by people.
"For as the new heavens and the new earth
Which I will make shall remain before Me,"
says the Lord,
"So shall your descendants and your name remain.
23 And it shall come to pass
That from one New Moon to another,
And from one Sabbath to another,
All flesh shall come to worship before Me,"
says the Lord.
24 "And they shall go forth and look
Upon the corpses of the men
Who have transgressed against Me.
For their worm does not die,
And their fire is not quenched.
They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh."
Isaiah 66:22-24

Warning To
The World
God has no Old or New Testaments. That division is man-made. The Word of
God is One. It is neither old nor new. It is always
new.
That is why God said, “I have no Old Testament. I have no New Testament. My
word is one. I am the Unchangeable Changer, whose word never changes.”
Your Duty
It is your duty to decide whether to do what God said in the bible or to be
following and practicing man-made laws and doctrines, which were forged by your
fellow human beings at meetings, councils, conferences and synods.
Conclusion
The end time is the last opportunity to repent and do the will of God.
Today, so many Christians, born-agains and
believers, who claim to be children of God, have not repented, because they are
not doing the will of God.
